Piano painting and woodworking techniques originating with the concept of "Yamaha in wood" have been employed from early on for the production of doors for system kitchens and other wood-based products. We have also pursued innovative research and development for living spaces. For example, we used FRP technology for bathtubs as far back as 1964, even though this technology was cultivated for the production of archery products. Yamaha also introduced a system kitchen with synthetic marble counters in 1976, a first for a domestic manufacturer. Since that time, our goal has been to offer a comfortable lifestyle from which our customers can derive satisfaction through the value offered by Yamaha's proprietary synthetic marble.
Yamaha will continue to work to create comfortable, luxurious living spaces through our thorough attention to the manufacture and sale of household fixtures and equipment. |
